DAY ONE Friday, 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Introduction of instructor and class participants, with discussion of student interest and reasons for taking the course
- Review of mission and course objectives
- Instructor's opening review of Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy and the philosophy behind its development
- Lecture and discussion relating to a basic understanding of dis-ease (stress), pain and disease, including cancer
- Group discussion
- Lecture and discussion of the basic elements of the Breath and Mindfulness and the roles they play in Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy
- Instructor guided group practice and/or experience of these components of Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy with student questions and answers
- Lecture and discussion of the basic elements of Touch and Energy Bodywork, and the roles they play in Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy
- Instructor demonstration of these components of the Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy routine, with student practice and questions and answers
DAY TWO Saturday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Continued practice, questions and answers relating to Touch and Energy Bodywork
- Lecture and discussion of the basic elements of Intuition and Aromatherapy and the roles they play in Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy
- Instructor guided group practice and/or experience of these components of Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy with student questions and answers
- Lecture and discussion of the basic components of Massage and Pressure Point Therapy as they relate to Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy
- Instructor demonstration of these components of the Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy routine, with student practice and questions and answers
- Lecture and discussion of the basic elements of Native American Healing and the role it plays in Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy
- Instructor offer group development experience of this component of the Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy with student questions and answers
DAY THREE Sunday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Group discussion of the psychological, social and spiritual issues impacting people living with dis-ease (stress), pain and disease, including cancer
- Overview and discussion of Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy – combining all elements reviewed into a one hour routine
- Instructor demonstration of the Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy routine, student practice and questions and answers
- Discussion of how Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy can be incorporated into the community
- Instructor review of copyright information
- Closing group discussion, with questions and answers
- Course evaluation

Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy Training is approved by the American Holistic Nurses' Association (AHNA), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's commission on Accreditation for 25 continuing nursing education contact hours .
Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy Training is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for 25 contact hours.
ENERGY Medicine Certification Training is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for 10 contact hours.
Expanding Health and Wealth through Mindfulness Meditation is approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for 7 contact hours.
Aviana (Mindful) Touch Therapy GRADUATE Class is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for 37 contact hours.
Aviana Touch Face Massage is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for 7 contact hours. |
